The ‘NO’ coat on display in the Fashion Together exhibition at Fashion Space Gallery, which times with the book of the same name. The pieces is from Viktor & Rolf’s F/W 2008 show, which was curtly titled No. “We love fashion, but it’s going so fast. We wanted to say ‘No’ this season,” explained the duo backstage at the time. This was the opening look of the collection.

Inez and Vinoodh for The Face, 1994 - “Well Basically Basuco Is Coke Mixed with Kerosene.”

A spread from Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin chapter in Fashion Together. After years of avid experimentation with post-production, van Lamsweerde and Matadin sought to return to a simpler, cleaner form of photography. These Polaroids, stored by the pair in black leather notebooks, were shot during portrait sessions for The New York Times Magazine between December 2003 and January 2005. “You can see where we switched over to digital. There are silver Polaroids but then it goes to printouts,” comments Matadin.
