Matthieu Blazy not only wants you to wear his creations but also to try them on in a space of his own design. If you're lucky enough to be in Paris, creative director Matthieu Blazy is asking you to embark on a tour of Bottega Veneta's new two-storey flagship store at 12 Avenue Montaigne, which promises a luxury journey through the lens of Venetian craftsmanship.
Blazy infuses his artistic touch into every aspect of this store by using Venetian glass and Italian wood as defining materials. The magic begins right at the entrance when customers open the door using a glass handle specially created by artist Ritsue Mishima. Once inside, you find yourself in a luminous space with industrial glass blocks integrated into the floors, ceilings, and walls. Another homage to Venetian craftsmanship can be seen in the wood and glass hanging rails, handcrafted by Italian artisans. Contrasting textures of soft leather and wooden interior details also pay tribute to the house's signature Intrecciato technique.
Launching with the complete A/W 23 collection, the new store houses all Bottega Veneta products, as well as a new in-store service for select leather goods. More than just a shopping store, Bottega Veneta's new Paris flagship offers a way of life, Matthieu Blazy style.
