Fashion Film: Face Off

published on 29 June 2021

Escape into an alternate universe in this unique fashion film exploring the face filter phenomenon. Nick Knight, Gareth Wrighton and Raquel Couceiro applied outlandish and hypnotising digital masks to two extraordinary models dressed to the nines in fashion by Moschino, Mugler and more.

Fashion trades in fantasy, and Face Off envisions new ways to create our identities online, propelling us towards a virtual future. Featuring a Shrek-inspired creation, the infamous ‘cat on head’ filter and an undulating virtual butterfly headdress, this fashion film explores the potentials for when the physical and digital collide.
