Smell Like Shayne Oliver Thanks To His New Soap With Pin-Up Home

We all know Shayne Oliver is one of the most subversive design talents of today. From his highly influential time at Hood By Air to the launch of his new label Anonymous Club as part of The Shayne Oliver Group, the designer’s creativity knows no bounds. This is most evident in his varied collaborations from Pornhub and Puma to his latest with Pin-Up Home. Entering the body care space for the first time in his extensive career, Oliver is introducing his very own bar of soap.

‘Shayne was very open to the design, and we wanted to have a very straightforward soap bar. It’s a playful take on something quite utilitarian,’ explains Pin-Up Home creative director Ben Ganz. The New York-based home goods brand was founded by Felix Burrichter, Kristin Hrycko and Ganz as a way to rethink everyday objects. Handmade in the USA, ‘Soap On A Rope’ aligns with the brand’s mission to create quality creative objects.

Inspired by the history of soap, the project is aptly dubbed ‘Soap On A Rope’. The vibrant green bar of soap is attached to a sleek (and sanitary) cotton cord adding a level of functionality to your shower routine. As for the scent, it’s described as dewy and muscular with a mixture of oud, orange, vanilla, and tobacco. If you ever wanted to smell like Shayne Oliver, here’s your chance.
