New Lanvin Campaign Stars Bella Hadid and Luv Resval
Lanvin have cast Bella Hadid and French rapper Luv Resval for their A/W 21 campaign, photographed by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot. The star-studded affair is offset by iconic pop art paintings, and tells of the glamour and youth creative director Bruno Sialelli has injected into the iconic French brand.
Since taking to the helm in January 2019, Sialelli has worked to make Lanvin's rich archives contemporary and cool for a new generation, bringing men's and women's under one singular vision. For A/W 21, the brand released one lookbook for each, with Gwen Stefani’s iconic noughties music video Rich Girl playing inspiration to a raucous affair in a Parisian hotel that celebrated the joy of dressing up.
The new campaign continues to embrace this desire for excess following over a year of pandemic restrictions. The unmissable works of American artist James Rosenquist form the backdrop as pop culture meets couture. With Jawara Wauchope on hair, Cécile Paravina on make-up and Carlos Nazario styling, the images conjure up a pretty fabulous vision of the Lanvin man and woman of today.
