Wales Bonner is a British menswear label founded by the designer Grace Wales Bonner. Wales Bonner graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2014 and won the L’Oréal Professionnel Talent Award for her collection Afrique. She showed her first season at London Collections: Men with Fashion East in 2015, and is one of the youngest designers to showcase at the V&A’s Fashion in Motion programme. Wales Bonner’s references are rooted in black visual culture, and her designs explore cross-cultural hybridity and entangled notions of European and African luxury.
In November 2020, adidas Originals by Wales Bonner Autumn/Winter 2020 was launched, becoming the first iteration of an ongoing collaboration between the two brands.
