Sixteen years ago Silvia Venturini Fendi hypothesized that movement and beauty could be a concrete experiment with a fashionable result. And so she enacted ethereal notions of lightness, modern classicism and the desire to fashion a tactile, crown jewel in Fendi’s treasure chest. This material science technology experiment, transmogrifying illusion into elegance resulted in the Peekaboo bag, debuted at the Fendi S/S 09 catwalk presentation.

Today Fendi commemorates that debut with a campaign toasting various twists and turns the Peekaboo represents alongside the multifaceted, multigenerational Fendi woman seen through mother-to-daughter models Kate Moss and Lila Grace Moss.
