It's All About Kate! Fanzine on Kate Moss By Bottega Veneta
Most of us grew up in adoration of Kate Moss, from the early images of the model as a teen on a beach photographed by Corinne Day, to walking the runway for the world's biggest brands. Bottega Veneta's artistic director Matthieu Blazy admits the global icon was his 'first Google search...She became a personal icon. If I was doing my “Kate Moss”, it meant I was in the middle of collecting pictures. This hobby became a sort of education.'
Having walked the Bottega Veneta S/S 23 show wearing a look inspired by her 90s wardrobe, Moss has since fronted the Summer 23 and Come Stai campaigns. Now, the brand is paying tribute with a special book in the form of a fanzine.
The third in a series of books dedicated to the Summer 23 collection, following a homage to artist Gaetano Pesce’s creations for the brand, the Kate Moss fanzine includes collages and images from Blazy's own archive, collected since he was a teenage. 'She was the first photo to be printed on the family printer...This fanzine is a tribute to Kate and the pages of a binder that defined my coming of age. She was my first.'
