The esteemed fashion house’s jewelled satchel bag gets a mechanical update for the new season.

Alexander McQueen’s Creative Director, Sarah Burton offers a seasonal iteration of the jewelled satchel bag for Autumn/Winter 2019. Burton often mentions the fabric mills of Derbyshire as a key influence in her work, and this motif shines through with the introduction of a new handle and colourway.

Like its predecessor, the bag pays homage to the brand's roots of avant-garde theatrics with a four ring knuckleduster detail handle. However, it gets an industrial twist with jewelled hardware, reminiscent of machinery nuts and screws. The bag has a body created from textures akin to mill-woven cloth and comes in two distinct styles: patent grain black leather with a red suede lining or matte biker leather finished with silver studs and a black suede lining.
