Susannah Frankel is editor-in-chief of AnOther magazine, having previously been fashion director of Grazia and fashion editor of The Independent from 1999-2012.
Having studied English at Goldsmiths University of London, Frankel went on to work as assistant to the editorial director of Academy Editions, an arts and architecture book publisher. In the late 80s Frankel moved to BLITZ Magazine. She was deputy editor of the title until it was forced to close in 1991.
Her first book–Visionaries - Interviews With Fashion Designers–was published by V&A Enterprises in October 2001. Frankel has contributed to the Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty monograph, as well as exhibition catalogues for Viktor & Rolf, Martin Margiela, Peter Jensen, Hussein Chalayan, Issey Miyake, Rei Kawakubo and Yohji Yamamoto.
