Having graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2007 with first class honours in fashion communication, Reid began styling for i-D, Qvest and Neo. In 2006, Reid launched the fanzine WAH to promote females in the creative industries. The success of the zine led to the 2009 launch of the Dalston salon and creative space WAH Nails. From jumble sales to art shows, the WAH Nails events series paved the way for Reid’s brand to get involved with London Fashion Week parties and shows for brands including Nike, Marc Jacobs and Diesel.

She then published two books on nail art, delivered global pop up nail salons for hundreds of brands, created a product line with Walgreen Boots Alliance and was awarded an MBE from HRH Queen Elizabeth in 2015 for services to beauty.

Reid closed WAH Nails after ten years of trading, in 2016. In 2017, she founded Beautystack, an app for booking beauty treatments. She was featured in Vogue's ‘New Generation' feature and named one of the ‘15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain' by the Independent

Reid mentors future female entrepreneurs through another platform that she founded, futuregirlcorp.com.
