One half of the British production company Gainsbury and Whiting, Sam Gainsbury is a producer of fashion shows, photographic shoots and events. Hailing from a background in the fashion and music industry, Gainsbury approaches commissions from their inception to their execution, involving herself in the evolution of the concept, the problem-solving process and building teams from across the creative fields. She has longstanding creative relationships with a range of clients including photographers Glen Luchford, Nick Knight and Norbert Schoerner, fashion houses Alexander McQueen, Sophia Kokosalaki and Hermes and magazines W, AnOther and several international Vogue titles. In 2002, Gainsbury and Whiting co-ordinated the fashion and music 'Fashion Rocks' event at The Royal Albert Hall, and have subsequently launched labels such as Stella McCartney for H&M, and McQueen's most recent addition, McQ.
