Roly Porter is a music producer and film score composer. He began his career as part of industrial dubstep duo Vex'd, before embarking on a solo career releasing atmospheric, electronic music on Subtext Recordings, Planet Mu and Tri Angle Records. Over the years, he's hosted numerous Boiler Room sets.
As a solo artist, he has released four albums: Aftertime, Life Cycle of a Massive Star ,Third Law and Kistvaen, two of which were listed in Fact Magazine's Albums of the Year. In 2014, Porter live-scored the 1960s French sci-fi animation film Light Years for the British Film Institute. In 2016, he teamed up with Marcel Weber (MFO) for an immersive performance for the Third Law record, debuting at Berlin Atonal.
