Mimma Viglezio

Mimma Viglezio is a creative consultant and editor. Viglezio started her career as marketing manager for Swiss Auction Houses in Geneva. In 1992 Viglezio was hired by the renowned public relations firm Hill & Knowlton Italy and became head of their high profile goods division, where she was advising clients such as Bvlgari and Céline. After four years working primarily for Bvlgari, the jewellers offered Viglezio the position of external relations director for womenswear. She was later promoted to corporate communications executive director, where she oversaw global communications matters for the brand.
After nine years, Viglezio moved to Paris as communications director at Louis Vuitton. After only one year in the position, she was offered a job by PPR for its luxury division, the Gucci Group. Based in London, she coordinated and controlled the activity of eight brands, and was responsible for the group’s corporate communications, media buying, market intelligence, CSR and corporate image.
In January 2010, Viglezio decided to move to an independent career, advising companies, boards and CEOs on a freelance basis on matters related to organisation, strategy, product and communications. She also sits on several advisory boards and charitable trusts. She joined SHOWstudio as editor in March 2018.
