Lou Dalton

Fashion Designer

Lou Dalton is a menswear designer. She grew up in Shropshire, inspired to go into fashion by her grandmother's own love for fashion. Dalton had left school at 16 to pursue an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring and pattern cutting. After completing a Master's from the Royal College of Art in Menswear and moving to Italy to work as a design consultant, Dalton came back to London, where she continues to design.
Years of working with the top menswear fashion houses including Hamish Morrow, Stone Island, Crucianni Knitwear and Charlie Allen honed her skills and Dalton created her own label in 2005. She has collaborated with Topshop and Rodnik, and taught on the Menswear & Accessory Design courses at the Royal College of Art in London.
