Katie Baron is a London-based writer, content director, brand strategist and futurist with extensive experience within the fashion, retail and design industries.

She has traversed the worlds of visual merchandising and store design for Habitat and Liberty; brand consultancy and project management at Yellowdoor; fashion production at Harpers Bazaar UK; and feature writing for publications including Dazed & Confused, The Times, Esquire, Glass, Vogue, Muse, Hole & Corner, Luxure, 125, Emporio Armani magazine, The Bally Journal, Kilgour (The Culture Essays) and VOLT.

A recognised force in futurism she is also the global Head of Retail (Trends, Insights & Innovations) at Stylus.com - a leading trends forecasting, research & advisory agency.

An expert in defining and predicting the intersections between digital innovation and consumer culture she has spoken at conferences, events and private institutions including Retail Design Expo, International Retail Design Conference, Social Media Week (UK), Milan Design Week, Unbound and Decoded Fashion (London, Milan and Tokyo) and London’s Fashion and Textile Museum.

She’s also an inaugural member of the London College of Fashion’s Digital Anthropology Laboratory, an expert contributor to online career accelerator Mastered.
