With temperatures rising, we don’t blame you for having summer holiday on your mind. To gear up for those beach days ahead Givenchy Plage has unveiled their latest collection as a celebration of summer sophistication and timeless elegance.

First introduced in 2023, Givenchy Plage draws inspiration from the idyllic ambiance of Le Clos Fiorentina, the summer estate of Hubert de Givenchy in Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. Building upon the spirit of this enchanting retreat, the capsule collection infuses key signatures of the maison with a modern twist, reflecting the couturier's enduring passion for noble French linen, vibrant prints inspired by his lemon grove, and classic nautical or Provençal stripes.

At the heart of the Givenchy Plage collection lies the timeless allure of linen, a fabric cherished by Monsieur de Givenchy since his debut collection in February 1952. The Givenchy Plage collection boasts a range of sun-kissed essentials, from bathing suits and hats to beach totes, all designed to embody the art of summer dressing with effortless charm.

For women, the collection features crop tops, tanks, breezy button-downs, and terry cover-ups, perfect for layering with flirty skirts or linen pyjama pants. As for the menswear, Provençal linen trousers are central to the collection as an effortless summer essential to keep you cool no matter where you are. Harkening to Givenchy's estate is also a new graphic (the Le Close 52) that references the year the maison opened as a couture house. Stamped on t-shirts, the design is a playful take on costal classics.

Throughout his illustrious career, Givenchy's love for linen remained unwavering, with the couturier often favoring linen separates and even creating a linen Atelier coat famously admired by Greta Garbo. With Givenchy Plage, the House pays homage to this storied history, reimagining linen with a fresh perspective that embraces its water-wise, zero-waste, traceable, and timeless qualities.
