Interview: Nick Knight on The Cell
Photographer Nick Knight began his collaborative relationship with Lee McQueen in 1996. The pair worked together continuously until McQueen's death in February 2010 and right up to the end pushed creative boundaries. McQueen's final show, S/S 10 Plato's Atlantis, was streamed live on SHOWstudio, a practice that then became the norm within the industry. Here, Knight discusses shooting McQueen in 1999 for Tina Brown's Talk magazine, an image that reflected McQueen's unhappiness as head designer at Givenchy.
