Nick Knight and SHOWstudio approached Clive Booth to produce a series of Moving Portraits that would give an insight into leading figures within the fashion industry. The idea was to highlight an aspect of the sitter that wouldn’t necessarily be common knowledge or represent them in a new way. As well as producing beautiful films, SHOWstudio were keen to outline the processes involved in producing a short film of this nature, with particular attention to new techniques and technologies.
