The Future of Fashion Is: Live Broadcasting

published on 22 October 2021

As global fashion weeks went digital due to the global pandemic, we broadcast the world's most informed, critical and honest commentary on a season like no other, covering the S/S 21 shows across London, Milan and Paris for eight hours a day. Broadcast on a 35 foot screen, an immersive experience on the fifth floor of the iconic Harrods department store in London transported visitors into the world of SHOWstudio.

Offering their specialist opinions, live commentary from Nick Knight, the SHOWstudio team and special guests analysed how fashion can be communicated with a wider audience and democratised via technology. Discussions cover the evolution of fashion film through to a digital designer's take on fashion show invitations from seasons past.

Guests include menswear designers Liam Hodges, Per Götesson and his partner, jewellery designer Husam El Odeh, Francesca Chapman from Chapman Agency and Liberte Productions executive producer Katherine Davey and set designer Andy Tomlinson.
