Bevan Agyemang: My name is Bevan Agyemang and I'm a visual artist and designer.
- What's your background?
BA: I am originally from Ghana but was born in England.
- What inspires you?
BA: I'm inspired by ecology and the connection between living organisms and their physical environment.
- What is the ambition behind your practice?
BA: To continue to develop my visual language that will inform and touches people from everywhere.
- What did you hope to convey with your Bodies Of Knowledge film?
BA: I wanted to communicate the rhythmic connection of the soul and the physical body. There is a subconscious physiological process that comes alive due to melanin secretion and the black body carries knowledge and applies itself through different forms.
