- What is your name and how would you describe what you do?
Nexcyia: Adam Dove is the artist name I use for fine-art based works and projects, but I also go by the name of Nexcyia for performance.
- What's your background?
N: Sound, performance, video and installation.
- What inspires you?
N: Everything around me.
- What is the ambition behind your practice?
N: My ambition is to tear these stereotypes down that we have of black/brown people - my goal is to also give voice to the unheard.
- What did you hope to convey with your Bodies Of Knowledge film?
N: My project will convey a sense of vulnerability, belonging and defiance!
