“I saw this dress in a photograph and instantly fell in love with it. I asked Ricky [Riccardo Tisci] if I could wear it to the Met Ball and he said 'yes’. It was a dream come true. One of those rare instances where you actually get to wear something so special. I knew how lucky I was. The detail with which it was made is just extraordinary. I was in total awe of the team that made this dress. I can’t even explain. Every single stitch and feather made with love, such precision, it’s just perfect.

I love Givenchy. I love the work they do. I felt like Cinderella... and then... I had to give it back again... Now it lives on as just a beautiful sort of dream in my memory.”
