In the next push for the house to strengthen their attempts at being 100% zero waste, McCartney has collaborated with a series of artists to create one-off t-shirts.

Stella McCartney is releasing a limited-edition series of graphic t-shirts inspired by the McCartney A – Z Manifesto and Spring 2021 collection.

Collaborating with 26 artists to represent each letter of the alphabet and what it stands for (A for accountable, Z for zero waste) artists involved in the project range from close friends to people McCartney has purposefully sought out to include. From Olafur Eliasson and Jeff Koons to Cindy Sherman and Peter Blake; the artists have been asked to re-interpret each letter for the collection hopes to stamp out the use of greenwashing and replace it with purity and transparency.

'The McCartney A to Z Manifesto reflects who we are and who we want to be, and these exclusive tees embody that. They are our Stella values brought to life through the vision of an artist hand-selected by me – creating beautiful, rare collector’s items as a way to give back to our global community and aligned with causes that matter,' says Stella McCartney.

Only 30 organic cotton t-shirts will be made per artwork, with profits from each piece going towards a cause of the artist’s choice. Packaged in renewable, recyclable material, the collection represents sustainability in its most authentic form right the way through to the production end.

Available for £425 at stellamccartney.com and select Stella McCartney stores.
