South Parade Presents New Group Show: A Separate Place Between the Thought and Felt

Including works spanning across the 20th and 21st centuries, South Parade's new group show, A Separate Place Between the Thought and Felt unapologetically transforms the viewer into the voyeur in an act that pays tribute to British-born American beat-poet Thom Gunn, whose poem The Corridor (in which the exhibition's title takes from the first line) vehemently reflects such notions of existential awareness that come with playing the voyeur. Featuring artworks by the likes of Abraham Cruzvillegas, Tom Hardwick-Allan, Peter Brock, Katie Shannon, Dorothy Mead Gillian Lowndes and many more, the exhibition is as confronting in tone as it is reflective - a true meditation on the thoughts and feelings that overcome many when stuck in places of transition; corridors, to be exact.

A Separate Place Between the Thought and Felt is open to the public on 10 August until 28 September. For more information, click here.
