SHOWNews: Pharrell's LVERS, Bridgerton Meets Skims & More
Pharrell's Golden LVRS Jus
Since his sunset debut for Louis Vuitton menswear on Paris' Pont Neuf last summer, Pharrell has been asking googley-eyed fans: What will you do when the sun shines on you? With power comes great responsibility after all. Named after the LOVERS moniker the king of music and fashion has woven through his LV lexicon so far, LVRS is Pharrell's first fragrance in collaboration with Louis Vuitton parfums. The 100ml of golden LVRS jus invites the wearer to bathe a little in the light too - for £255.00.
Lady Whistledown's SKIMS Campaign
Spoiler incoming. Penelope Featherington, protagonist of the latest series of cult Netflix show Bridgerton, is indeed the new Gossip Girl. Kim Kardashian notoriously enjoys a telly binge session, so much so the SKIMS founder enlisted Irish actor Nicola Coughlan to be the leading lady in their new Soft Lounge collection, phographed by Elizaveta Porodina.
Louis-Gabriel Nouchi's Sensual ECCO.kollektive Collab
With the S/S 25 menswear shows in full swing, designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi (LGN) took the opportunity to showcase their collection as part of the latest ECCO.Kollektive line-up.
Previously known as At.Kollektive, Peter Do, Kiko Kostadinov and more have used the project to create leather pieces with the ultimate freedom of it costing them not a single penny. The LGN brand is known for sensuality, and its that sexy touch the designer brings to four footwear styles, four bags and 10 ready-to-wear items, all available from November.
'Our inspiration for this collection delves into the intricate textures of the human body, drawing parallels with the supple shininess and waxy allure of biker leather. When crafting the pieces, we focused on reimagining archetypal items from both menswear and womenswear wardrobes, transcending conventional gender norms. Each garment, whether it be a classic quilted jacket, a dress, or a skirt, embodies a sense of fluidity and inclusivity.'

Bringing the humour of the Italian fashion brand Sunnei together with the quirky Spanish shoemakers, these shoes bring the comfort factor too.
Why this Basquiat Collaboration Hits Different
Remember a few years back when Jean-Michel Basquiat’s art was everywhere? On Dr Martens, Casetify phone cases, you name it. Collaborations between a late artist’s estate and mass brands like these come with a handsome check, but also make an artist’s work accessible in a new way, albeit perhaps differently than they initially intended. A new collection with H&M is bringing the artist’s lesser known jazz-inspired works into the spotlight.
A double whammy, the hook up has been designed by the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund finalist Who Decides War, designed by Ev Bravado, and with Téla D’Amore. The estate of Jean-Michel Basquiat, which is directed by the artist’s sisters, have agreed to licence out Punch Bag, 1983, Flexible, 1984, and an extract from Basquiat’s infamous notebooks. Bravado wanted to recreate the tactile, emotional interaction of the artist and his canvas, here using white denim as the foundation for a worn and torn effect.
The Cult of Birkenstock 1774
The German footwear brand went from the uncoolest Dad shoe to covetable fashion staples. Whether it was Proenza Schouler, Kim Jones's Dior Men's or even Manolo Blahnik, fashion designer's putting their spin on the good old Birk have thrust them into a new chapter. The Birkenstock 1774 range has that cool factor throughout, and at a premium price, they stand up and above with piping details, signature monochromatic buckles and rich colourways including jet black, blue, olive and burgundy. Break away from the pack in spray-painted raffia editions of the Arizona and Milano styles, or milky PVC inspired by 1970s plexiglass.
