After the Serpentine South pavilion got a makeover last month by Minsuk Cho of Mass Studies, the gallery's summer party plans look brighter than ever.

Next week marks the summer party to end all summer parties. Of course, we're talking about Serpentine who will be welcoming the brightest stars from the art industry and beyond next Tuesday 25 June for their annual summer bash.

Hosted by Serpentine chair and CEOs Michael R. Bloomberg, Bettina Korek, and Hans Ulrich Obrist, the summer event will take place at Minsuk Cho's newly designed pavilion as main hosts will be joined by DJ and singer Peggy Gou, actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw and tennis player Venus Williams.

'We are deeply grateful to all our partners, patrons and artists who will take part in this year's Serpentine Summer Party' noted both Korek and Ulrich Obrist in a statement to press. 'Our most important fundraising event of the year will centre around Minsuk Cho's 2024 Pavilion, whose design, in the spirit of connectedness, is a beautiful homage to Serpentine's original function as a tea house. We look forward to welcoming guests to an iconic evening that balances the simple elegance of a British garden party with the unmatched energy of an artist salon bringing together cultural luminaries from throughout London and around the world.'
