Robyn Lynch Launches Her C.P. Company Capsule Today

Dublin-born menswear designer Robyn Lynch is set to release her highly regarded collaboration with the Italian counter-cultural sportswear giant C.P. Company today, depending on which time zone you live in.

Those C.P. Company breadcrumbs were a key takeaway from the Robyn Lynch Ireland A/W 24 show. Steely-eyed menswear enthusiasts likely spotted the not-so-subtle Lynch trademark aran knit placed atop a blue hooded blouson, then scanned a certain logo on its left sleeve to crack a rather obvious code. Their partnership began with Lynch finding familiarity in shared product design approaches. Both combine practicality into fashion using a meticulous process of research, heritage, assembly and repurposing. In this way C.P. Company and Robyn Lynch innovate casualwear with purposeful designed in each component part.

The C.P. influence gets its best groove in Lynch’s interpretation of the classic 'Mille Miglia' goggle jacket — the first of the goggle-hooded jackets originally created by founder Massimo Osti in 1988. Reworking the parka’s colourways in sky blue with cobalt stretch nylon lining puts the classic jacket firmly in Robyn Lynch Ireland territory that upcycles nostalgia for newness.
