Prada Zaddy's Home! Jeff Goldblum Fronts New Campaign
Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you'll remember your phone blowing up when Prada made a nod to their A/W 12 menswear show back in January, sending a star-studded host of Hollywood actors marching down the runway. Jeff Goldblum's swagger will be forever imprinted on my mind, so much so I didn't question telling the Prada Zaddy so when he ended up on my flight back from the Milan shows - full disclosure, he is even lovelier and funnier than you'd hope.
A total of 10 actors, including Goldblum, Kyle MachLachlan and Damson Idris, had joined Prada models on the catwalk in broad-shouldered leather coats, nylon boiler suits and shirling trimmed bomber jackets for one of Prada's most viral collections ever. No surprise then that for the A/W 22 campaign, the boys are back.
Photographed by David Sims in three cinematic portraits, Goldblum joins Idris and Rami Malek for the latest Prada campaign. Just as on the runway, the actors are playing themselves, epitomising the individual, expressive nature of a Prada garm. Each image is juxtaposed with a still life; a personal memento for each actor, hinting of new stories akin to the Prada wearer. A ballon for Idris, a teddy bar for Goldblum, and a candle for Malek. What could it all mean? That's the eternal riddle of Prada.
