Marni x No Vacancy Inn Reveal Gloriously Soulful Capsule
Kindred spirits Marni and No Vacancy Inn first announced they would be collaborating last year, and today the collection is finally revealed in a trippy, sun-drenched campaign. An expression of the creative exchanges and collaborative nature which underpins both Marni - the Italian label helmed by Francesco Risso - and the platform No Vacancy Inn - conceived by Tremaine Emory, Ade « Acyde » Odunlami and Brock Korsan - the Summer 2023 capsule is a joyful force of nature. It marks the latest chapter in Marni Jam, an-ongoing project which invites creative entities to take an active role in the global Marni community.
Unveiled at the Marni Melrose Place boutique in L.A this week together with the release of a gloriously soulful series of images by Ghanian artist Derrick Ofosu Boateng, the Marni x No Vacancy collection comprises of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, accessories and footwear. Kaleidoscopic prints, painted palm trees and clouds are rendered in vibrant colour palette, with crocheted bikini tops, hoodies and cardigans, skirts and shorts offered alongside signature Marni accessories. The new 'Venice' mini bucket bag and raffia 'Marcel' are revealed and come to life in Boateng's sun-drenched campaign on the beaches of Accra, where models wear bucket hats and beach visors, gladiator sandals and the white 'Dada Bumper' sneaker.
Marni x No Vacancy Inn is available in Europe and the USA on 20 April on marni.com. The collection will be available in Asia from 27 April.
