Tomorrow Ltd have acquired a majority stake in the London-based concept store.

The future of MACHINE-A looks even brighter following today's announcement that Tomorrow Ltd have taken a majority stake in the London-based concept store. Founded in 2013 by Stavros Karelis in Soho, MACHINE-A has become the go-to for cutting edge brands, both emerging and established. Many of today's star designers found their first stockist in Karelis, who has pioneered a genderless and sharp edit of the latest fashions which remained unrivalled. You can expect to find Raf Simons and Maison Margiela alongside Sweet Lime Juice, EFTYCHIA, Stefan Cooke and Kiko Kostadinov.

Tomorrow Ltd, a business development platform, are set to become the majority shareholders in MACHINE-A. Karelis will remain as Buying Director, joined by new CEO Alessandra Rossi. The new partnership is set to see MACHINE-A and in turn, the brands and designers it supports, flourish in 2021.

'MACHINE-A is one of the rare stores in this era supporting young future talents of our industry in meaningful ways. I know I will always learn about a new exciting designer emerging each season first from MACHINE-A. The store has a authentic connection to its community as well as a unique point of view when it comes to its selection of brands and how they choose to buy those brands' Matthew Williams, co-founder & creative director 1017 Alyx 9SM, creative director Givenchy

In 2014, MACHINE-A partnered with SHOWstudio on an e-commerce platform- be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the latest edits in the live 'Shop Shoots' broadcast on SHOWstudio.com. Most recently, MACHINE-A launched a pop-up with multi-brand concept store Labelhood in Shanghai, which runs from 1 October 2020 until February 2021. For this special partnership, Rei Nadal directed a short fashion film which connects the two worlds of the stores, their audiences, and their cities - London and Shanghai, which was also launched on SHOWstudio.

'MACHINE-A has long been the centre of London’s fashion scene principally due to the bravery and fashion knowledge of...Karelis, coupled with the care and interest he takes with emerging and established designers alike. This added to a brilliantly informed staff has meant MACHINE-A has gathered a huge amount of loyal supporters both here and abroad, making it the must visit store for all international fans of cutting edge fashion' Nick Knight
