Now there's finally an end to this strenuous lockdown in sight - one that's seen many of us exchange our fancy shoes for a pair of fluffy slippers - we're all going to be looking for a fresh pair of trainers to dance the night away for when life returns to normal. Kith have heard these dancing dreams and have decided to act. Look no further; Kith has announced the official opening of their first European flagship store in Paris, and trust us when we say the grandioseness of it will blow you away. Located in the heart of Paris' Golden Triangle, the flagship will cover the central courtyard of the historic Perishing Hall building (so expect a grand entrance). It will also be the brand's biggest store to date - occupying three floors in total and covering 16,000 square feet, providing different services including Kith Retail, Kith Treats and a Kith for Sadelle's restaurant. Fancy!
Since opening its first stores in Manhattan and Brooklyn in 2011, Kith's very own New York-based designer Ronnie Fiegs has attracted sneaker fans from across the globe. Fieg's own collaborations, with the likes of Asics and Nike, are also sold through Kith. Having partnered with over 50 brands, Fiegs is considered one of the most prolific sneaker designers and collaborators. Only a year after opening up the Kith stores, Kith's in-house apparel line was launched but Fiegs decided this wasn't enough and in 2016, Kith held its first show at the one and only New York Fashion Week.
Kith has been known to produce some awe-worthy collaborations with brands like Versace, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and Levi's in the past. So, to celebrate the flagship's opening, Kith has partnered with Nike, to create a collaborative Air Force 1 that will be sold exclusively at the new flagship. As soon as travel restrictions are lifted, you'll know where to find us.
