Kiko Kostadinov Womenswear Gets A Beach-Inspired Makeover

It has been four years since fashion's beloved sisters, Laura and Deanna Fanning, jumped into the industry spotlight, and they've been wooing the coolest cats ever since. Keeping in spirit with the Kiko Kostadinov S/S 22 womenswear collection - which centred around all things 'holidays and beach towels' - the Fannings decided to shoot the collection's campaign at Half Moon Bay in Black Rock, where sun, sea and sand all came together under photographer Gadir Rajab's lens to create the perfect holiday backdrop.

'Summertime and vacation dressing are on the minds of many designers for spring 2022, but few are doing it with the emotion and compassion of Laura and Deanna Fanning', wrote Vogue's Steff Yotka when reviewing the runway collection. Viewing the beach as a place where transitions happen - girls become women as others find freedom or love - the S/S 22 womenswear campaign is none other than a coming-of-age-inspired homage to Australia's sandy shores (where the two sisters grew up).

Having now helmed the label's womenswear line for just shy of half a decade, it appears that, at least under the sisters' direction, Kiko Kostadinov womenswear is going from strength to strength. United in their aesthetic sensibilities and creative vision, the pair have managed to attract a number of A-list fans, including Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid, while their 'Trivia handbag' - which debuted at the most recent A/W 22 womenswear show - is a definitive 'It' bag on the rise, even rivalling Telfar's bag Shopping bag according to W Magazine.
