Known for staging shows all around the globe, Dior have announced a series of pop-ups in several resort locations all of which will pay tribute to the house's Dioriviera capsule collection.
'The continuously reinvented Dioriviera summer capsule, designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri, stands as an invitation to travel', wrote Dior in a press release, and travel they have. Mirroring their recent post-pandemic affiliation for jet setting across the globe, which saw Kim Jones stage a men's show in LA last month and Maria Grazia Chiuri stage a women's show in Seoul in April (in addition to their upcoming resort show set to take place in Seville on 16 June), the house have decided to do the same thing with their pop-ups - housing one in a variety of holiday destinations from Capri to Ibiza, Montenegro to Mykonos.
Featuring house codes many have come to know - such as the Toile de Jouy and bayadère stripes - the collection's ready-to-wear leather goods and shoes are illuminated by fluorescent shades inspired by the Fall 2022 line, with blue, orange and pink making standout appearances.
Worried you won't be able to make it to one of the sunny escapes to see the collection up close? Don't fret; echoing the sun-kissed hot spots Dior have unveiled pop-ups in, the brand have also created a brand new filter available to download on Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat to let users try on two DiorClub visors or three silk accessories, as well as scan Dioriviera packaging to see the iconic motif's animals come to life.
However, if you happen to find yourself in either Bodrum, Capri, Forte dei Marmi, Ibiza, Montenegro, Mykonos or Paraggi, you know where to go.
