Here's How We're Celebrating ikon-1's Birthday
ikon-1 has officially launched but we aren't done yet. To celebrate SHOWstudio's first foray into the world of NFTs we've planned a slew of events for everyone.

More than just a mint date, yesterday marked the birth of Nick Knight and SHOWstudio’s inaugural NFT project ikon-1. Years in the making, the future-facing project marks a new chapter for SHOWstudio as it continues its journey to innovate fashion image-making in the metaverse. Not just your standard NFT, ikon-1 brought together a community of creatives to push the boundaries of self-expression as they created digital couture for Jazzelle’s digital avatar. To celebrate the labour of love, we’ve planned a series of exciting events to look forward to.
Virtual Help Desk
For anyone new to the world of NFTs and crypto, for today SHOWstudio will be hosting a virtual help desk on site. Throughout the day members of our team will be on standby to guide anyone through the process of opening your own digital wallet so you can secure your own one-of-a-kind artwork.
W1 Curates Studio
Back by popular demand, this Sunday, SHOWstudio returns to W1 Curates with it’s immersive introduction to the world of ikon-1. An extension of our Oxford Street takeover last week, this time W1 Curates Studios in Shoreditch will host the 360 degree digital screens that offer an up-close and personal look at ikon-1 and the process behind it. We will also be hosting a live help desk where members of our team will be present to assist in opening a digital wallet to purchase an ikon-1, as well as answer any questions about the project.
10:00-18:00 GMT at W1 Curates Studio, 6-9 Timber St, London EC1Y 0TQ
ikon-1 Illustration Exhibition
Bridging the digital and physical realms, from Tuesday 20 December to Thursday 22 December, we’re inviting you to the studio for a special illustration exhibition. Inspired by ikon-1, our vast community of illustrators have reinterpreted Jazzelle's digital avatar in their own art styles ranging from watercolours and pastels, to collages. We will also be featuring behind-the scenes images showcasing the process from Nick Knight and CGI artist Tom Wandrag as they digitised Jazzelle into ikon-1.
20-22 December, 10:30-18:00 GMT at SHOWstudio, 22D Ebury St, London SW1W 0LU
