Nike has never been a stranger to the world of high fashion, with the global sportswear titan teaming up with some of fashion’s biggest names. From Sacai to Off-White, Undercover and Jacquemus, designers around the globe have reimagined some of Nike’s most iconic silhouettes. Well, their latest collaboration is keeping things on American soil by partnering up with legendary jeweller Tiffany & Co. In a collaboration that’s being dubbed a ‘legendary pair’, the hometown titans have come together to reimagine the iconic Air Force 1s just in time to celebrate the signature silhouette’s 40th Anniversary

The powerhouse brands are making their collaborative debut with the Nike x Tiffany & Co. Air Force 1 1837. First introduced in 1953, the Air Force 1 style has seen many iterations over its lifetime. This time around it’s getting the Tiffany treatment with the Nike swoosh rendered in that iconic robin egg blue. A truly premium pair of trainers, they’re crafted in black suede and finished with co-branded silver details on each heel. We couldn’t think of a better way to commemorate the style’s 40th birthday.

Founded in 1837, Tiffany & Co. set the standard for sterling silver accessories, so no collaboration would be complete without a lineup of gleaming accoutrements. Accompanying the reimagined Air Force 1s, the New York institution has also crafted some collector's items that would make Holly Golightly herself swoon. With sneaker-heads in mind (and to go with the newly revamped Air Force 1s) the lineup features a co-branded shoehorn, shoe brush, and deubré laces. Honouring Nike's affinity to life on the basketball court Tiffany has also created an extra special whistle in reflective sterling silver.

The highly anticipated collaboration will be released worldwide on 7 March via Nike's SNKRS app. Select retailers in North America, including the iconic Tiffany & Co. flagship store in New York City will also be stocking the collectable release.
