This week, 104 galleries hailing from 15 countries will gather in Hampstead Heath to celebrate 25 years of the Affordable Art Fair.

Nothing gets London ready for summer like a good art fair, and what's better than an affordable one? Returning to Hampstead Heath this week is the Affordable Art Fair, showcasing a roster of local and international galleries representing 15 countries. Out of 104 participating galleries, 17 new ones are set to make their Affordable Art Fair debut as visitors will be able to browse thousands of artworks on display priced between £50 and £7,500.

Any other year, the the fair would be a strong contender on an art lover's calendar but as far as the year 2024 is concerned, Affordable Art Fair has re-modelled itself as a must-see event. Why? This year marks the fair's 25th anniversary - an achievement that will be celebrated via a variety of initiatives including commissioning best-selling artist Nadia Attura, (represented by Will’s Art Warehouse), to create a limited-edition print depicting the gardens of Battersea Park as well as inviting emerging artists from across University of the Arts London in Made in Arts London’s showcase, and revealing the work of Jackson’s Art Prize 2024 finalists. The fair will also be unveiling the new labyrinthine installation Mindset by artist Jules Wittock, whose art promises to captivate visitors upon making his London debut. Still want more? Grab a drink at the Heath’s only rooftop bar if you need a reason to be persuaded over an artwork or celebrate your latest purchase at one of the fair's Summer Lates during the week with live DJs, art, and drinks until 21:00 BST.

Speaking of the London event, UK fair director and general art expert Hugo Barclay commented: 'Affordable Art Fair Hampstead is a fantastic event to celebrate the start of summer. We are proud to be one of the few large-scale events to take place on iconic Hampstead Heath, offering a most charming setting for a fun day out for art lovers. We’re thrilled to have a broad range of excellent galleries exhibiting with us this year, with art from around the world coming together in a beautiful London landmark. We encourage visitors to get lost in the art with Jules Wittock’s maze-like display at this year’s fair, welcome wine-lovers to find the perfect pairing for their new pieces at MUST Wine Bar, and invite four-legged friends to pose for the Doggy Photobooths. With so much on offer, we are confident that everyone will enjoy a day out at Affordable Art Fair Hampstead.'
