As part of the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture the 6th edition of the Fashion Trust Arabia Prize will be presented in Marrakech.
When it comes to spotlighting Arab culture and creativity, it’s Fashion Trust Arabia who are doing the heavy lifting. Since 2018 the non-profit has been nurturing Middle Eastern and North African talent with their annual prize. To coincide with the Qatar-Morocco 2024 Year of Culture — which commenced on 20 February with an exhibition of Berber jewellery from the Royal Palace at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha — FTA has just announced that this year’s prize will take place in the capital of Marrakech.
Central to this year’s FTA Prize is the aim of celebrating Moroccan cultural heritage while nurturing the future generation of designers within the region. The collaboration between the two nations will see guests from around the world flock to Marrakech to discover a rich cultural tapestry courtesy of their design talent. As a preview of the excitement to come, FTA has released a short video featuring Moroccan talents from diverse creative backgrounds, showcasing the depth and diversity of Moroccan artistry.
As anticipation builds for the FTA Prize 2024 in Marrakech, fashion enthusiasts, industry insiders, and cultural aficionados alike can look forward to a celebration of talent, creativity, and the vibrant spirit of Moroccan artistry. Stay tuned for further updates on this highly anticipated event.
