Eric AF and SWEETLIMEJUICE Are Making Us Thorny

Bethnal Green got a little more thorny last night as lifestyle brand Eric AF unveiled their collaboration with jewellery brand Sweet Lime Juice. Available exclusively at a pop-up shop at 123 Bethnal Green Road until 27 October, the event drew in an eclectic crowd of fashion aficionados, artists, and nightlife regulars who were eager to check out the latest from emerging label. True to Eric AF's unapologetic flair, the evening was a celebration of queer identity, sexual liberation, and bold self-expression with the brand's second drop available to buy.

The collaboration with SLJ merges genderless jewellery with Eric AF's ethos of sexual liberation. The showstopper of the capsule collection comes from the reimagined Eryn Navette chain. With the removal gemstones and the extension of wild thorns which frame the necklace, the chain has an air of dangerous sensuality, bringing an Eric-inspired elevation to the dynamic piece. Since their inception in 2019, SLJ has created strong collections with a punk edge, blurring the boundaries between fine art and wearable jewellery.

The night was serenaded by DJ Lexii, who wore a custom body piece designed by SLJ, highlighting the individuality and seductive nature of the collaboration. Perfectly encapsulating the night, the wearable art moved beautifully with the musician, and on all of the guests for the evening. This adaption to the body is also present in other pieces for the collaboration, including the Horns Cap Clip, which are moveable accessories that can be added to any outfit.

Eric AF may only be on its second drop, but it’s already making a name with a signature blend of audacious style and boundary-pushing flair. Alongside the show-stopping jewellery collaboration, the collection serves up pieces that effortlessly straddle the line between boardroom confidence and after-hours mischief.
