The technology-obsessed Paris designers present seasonal celebrations of the joyful mood only fur-filled holidays can provide.

Coperni are likely not the first fashion designers the Holiday season brings to mind. Just remember that Christmas is clever, ornamental and above all, sonic. These solutions-driven aspects give the ‘reason for the season’ a harmonious result that jibes with creative directors Arnaud Vaillant and Sébastien Meyer passions for optimistic, tech-driven creations. Yet sometimes, as their Disneyland Paris presentation proved, you need an injection of pure camp in the festivities. And since Christmas is as camp as panto, cue the dogs!

Switching up last year’s 12 kittens of Christmas theme, Coperni enlists doggos Pippa, Tupac, Harry, Neo and Prosper this year to bring smiles to screens this December. After all, what could be more camp than sleek dogs named after pop stars, royalty and heroes merrily roasting their chestnuts on an open fire? These dogs know full well what holiday they were cast to promote. And off to push Christmas with Coperni do our friends go! Their furry exteriors reminiscent of fabulous grandmas in winter, Pippa, Tupac, Harry, Neo and Prosper stage a Holiday setting filled with Coperni gifts — the Coperni swipe, swipe mini and sound swipe; the Coperni baguette; and to top off New Years, Tupac decided the Coperni glass bag is best put on ice! Clearly these dogs have paws in assisted creative direction, as lead campaign CD’s Kevin Tekinel and Charles Levai did not need much help, but Harry insisted.

While a few Coperni shopping bags might have fallen down during final setup and Pippa potentially swiped the Coperni red swipe for her February holiday in Saint Tropez — we asked her to bark twice if Coperni approved the loan, she did — these dogs were fashion factotums towards a greater purpose. That purpose is to make sure Coperni fans ‘Have a Bitchin’ Holiday Season!’ While we did not love the pun nor the swear word again, Harry insisted.
