For those of us lacking in easy, breezy sunny day staples, chief creative officer of Burberry Daniel Lee is here to the rescue. Unveiling his highly anticipated summer 2024 collection, the designer is putting a sultry spin on modern British classics.
Burberry’s house codes abound in the breezy selection, with the iconic check taking centre stage. This time around in earthy sand and lichen colourways, the signature print is a testament to the brand’s heritage. Another key print this season is the Equestrian Knight Design that’s been stamped on everything from swimwear to beach towels.
While not an obvious summer staple, it wouldn’t be a Burberry collection without a trench coat. Inspired by the archive, trenches are tended in lightweight twill and nylon fabrics for those of us who aren’t ready to pack away our statement outerwear this summer.
