These days it feels like every brand is either saying goodbye or hello to a creative director. While long tenures are thought to be a thing of the past, Dior Men’s and Kim Jones are proving their creative collaboration is ready to stand the test of time. In June, Jones pretended his five-year anniversary collection as Dior Men’s artistic director with a blockbuster show inspired by the maison’s historic haute couture ateliers. Now he’s showcasing the subversive collection with a vibrant campaign shot by Rafael Pavarotti.

When models ascended onto the runway at the Dior Men’s S/S 24 show in Paris, the audience was in awe. And not just because of the technological feat they just witnessed, but because of the immaculate designs that they were created with. The collection unveiled in the innovative showcase presented a tapestry of masculine elegance defined by couture excellence. Jone’s signature languid tailoring was styled with vivid Cannage knits, and flouncy hats by master milliner Stephen Jones.

Jones, known for his innovative approach to fashion, skilfully marries the house's classic codes with a modern twist transcending the boundaries of space and time. This makes Pavarotti the ideal collaborator for the campaign due to his dreamlike style that can’t be defined by a single decade. For this campaign, Pavarotti highlighted the vibrancy of the collection with backdrops in bright blue, pink and green hues.

As Dior Men’s continues to evolve under Kim Jones' creative leadership, the summer 2024 Collection stands as a testament to the brand's commitment to pushing the boundaries of fashion, offering a glimpse into a world where elegance meets avant-garde and traditional dances with modernity. The runway, adorned with Pavarotti's evocative imagery, becomes a canvas where the past and future converge in a celebration of Dior's enduring style.
