Dior Men’s B57 Trainer Fuses Retro Sportswear and Parisian Savoir-Faire
Kim Jones is undeniably a master of his craft when it comes to elevating sportswear. Since his appointment as artistic director of Dior Men's, his covetable lineup of trainers, including the fashion week favourite B23 and his collaboration with the Air Jordan 1, are proof of his prowess in crafting timeless sneakerhead fodder. The latest in his lineup, the newly released B57, reimagines retro silhouettes with the brand's signature Parisian savoir-faire.
Drawing inspiration from the nostalgia of 1980s sportswear, the mid-top trainer reimagines the classic basketball shoe with the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and quality. From the precisely embroidered Dior logo on the tongue to the ultra-comfortable cushioning insole, every element of this trainer speaks to Dior's dedication to luxury and comfort.
To celebrate the launch of the B57 Trainer, Dior has unveiled a captivating campaign shot by British image-maker Alasdair McLellan. Expertly showcasing the finer details of the new style, the campaign highlights the Dior Oblique motif stitched prominently on the side. Crafted from smooth calfskin, the two-tone trainers come in black, blue, and the brand's signature shade of grey which was famously monsieur Christian Dior's favourite colour. As if that wasn't enough of an homage, the midsole is stamped with the brand's signature, reinforcing the Dior legacy in every step.
