Kim Jones is no stranger to an artist collaboration. As artistic director of Dior Men’s, Jones has worked with some of the world’s most renowned artists, including Hajime Sorayama and Peter Doig to name a few. Well, for his latest creative capsule collection, the maison is teaming up with Japanese artist Tanilla Otani. Appropriately dubbed Dior & Otani Workshop, the real star of the collaboration is the artist’s famous green monster also named Tanilla.

At the core of the collection is childlike wonder, heightened by a colour palette of bright greens and reds. Jones’ relaxed silhouette is elevated through Oblique print knitwear, baseball jackets and caps, and T-shirts and joggers embroidered with Tanilla and a playful iteration of the Dior logo.

Of course it wouldn’t be a Dior Men’s collection without a trainer. This time around it’s the maison’s signature B33 high top that gets revamped with Tanilla’s presence. Seated on a stool and stamped on the luxe trainers, Tanilla adds a touch of playful sophistication to the fan-favourite design.

These mischievous monster will be showcased in Dior boutiques, inviting fashion aficionados to experience the marriage of avant-garde artistry and high-end fashion in every meticulously crafted piece. Redefining the boundaries of both creative mediums, the collaboration is a testament to how much fun both fashion and art can be.
