When it comes to shopping in London there’s no denying that Oxford Street and Bond Street offer some of the best. Still, for the city's luxury aficionados, Sloane Street is the destination for any high-fashion shopping trip. Home to some of the biggest brands from around the world, it’s no surprise that Dior’s latest London location would be on the West London street. Set to house an exclusive selection of womenswear, menswear, and high jewellery, the new location promises to be an ode to refinement and the Dior dream.
Inspired by one of Dior’s most recognisable symbols, the facade of the new locale recreates the cannage motif with strips of lights a mirrored panels. Furnished in shades of white and cream, the space is the perfect canvas for creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri’s designs rooted in modern femininity. Along with ready-to-wear, the shop will also be home to Dior Joaillerie pieces designed by Victoria de Castellane.
Doubling down on Chiuri’s love for female artists — she’s previously referenced works from Judy Chicago and Niki de Saint Phaille — the store will also be home to several artworks. Focusing on British talent, work by Victoria Morton, Selma Parlour and more will add to the store's atmosphere and Chiuri's passion for supporting female creatives.
