Burberry’s Knights in Shining (Blue) Armour
When it comes to British icons, it takes one to know one. For its latest activation, Burberry is taking over Harrods by bathing the department store in its signature Equestrian Knight blue.

Alongside immersive blue light, the iconic London department store's awnings will be adorned in Burberry’s latest seasonal check, whilst camping-themed windows and displays bring the Great British outdoors to the Great British high street.
If all the Burberry blue gets a bit too much, there’s even a branded food truck serving pastries and tea to recharge in style. The best part? The Daniel-Lee-designed doormen uniforms, which mark the first time the store’s doormen have worn anything but their traditional green sets.
Speaking about the move, Lee expressed that 'for me, Britishness is a balance between tradition and progress. A celebration of cultural diversity. That’s why we have collaborated with Harrods, it’s a British Institution that’s visited by people from all around the world.'
Inside visitors will find a special capsule collection of 40 Burberry designs, plus a showcase of the iconic Burberry trench coat and the British heritage brand's spin on the collectible Harrods bear.
Burberry’s takeover will last the whole month of February, forming a central focus of Harrods’ 175th anniversary celebrations. Will you be heading over? If you can't make it into town, the whole experience is available to experience on the immersive virtual platform Roblox where the Harrods' facade has been realised in full, continuing Burberry's on-going metaverse interventions, having previously launched the 'Lola' bag on the platform in 2022.
