BULLETIN: Nensi Dojaka Scoops the LVMH Prize 2021
Albanian designer Nensi Dojaka has been awarded the coveted LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers. Taking cues from lingerie with her black, deconstructed designs, the Fashion East alumna counts Bella Hadid as a fan, and last year became the first of two recipients of Alessandro Dell'Acqua of No.21 and Tomorrow Ltd's new mentorship scheme
Supporting a new generation of designers, each year 2 prize winners receive financial support and mentorship from the best in the business. Previous recipients include Marine Serre, Marques'Almeida and Grace Wales Bonner. This year's finalists included Bianca Saunders, Charles de Vilmorin, Conner Ives, KidSuper, Kika Vargas, Rui and Lukhanyo Mdingi. The Karl Lagerfeld prize has been split between Rui, Lukhanyo Mdingi and KidSuper.
