BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund and LVMH Prize drop big announcements.

It is a big day for a number of up and coming designers today, as both BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund and LVMH Prize delivered hotly anticipated announcements.

BFC/Vogue Designer Fashion Fund, with a judging committee chaired by Edward Enninful OBE, Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue and European Editorial Director, Vogue announced its 2022 shortlist, including Chopova Lowena, Completedworks, E.L.V. DENIM, NEOUS, Nicholas Daley, Richard Malone, Richard Quinn and TOVE on the group competing for a top prize of mentoring and a £200,000 cash prize.

LVMH Prize, meanwhile, has announced their 20-strong shortlist pulled from a global pool of over 1,900 candidates. The list includes genderless Sri Lankan brand Amesh, Dublin-based womenswear brand Róisín Pierce, and London menswear brand S.S. Daley. Semifinalists will compete at an in-person showroom in Paris on March 4 and March 5, with a simultaneous virtual showroom and online voting to help determine who takes top prize. The judging experts this year will include LV ambassador Léa Seydoux and artist Cindy Sherman.
