This year's Venice Biennale marks the art festival's 18th International Architecture Exhibition in Venice. Always one to support the arts and establish their place in Italy's bustling creative scene, the Matthieu Blazy of Bottega Veneta has recently announced in a statement that the Milanese house will be supporting Italy's pavilion at this year's Venice Biennale Architettura, curated by Fosbury Architecture who have titled the space Spaziale. Everyone belongs to everyone else.
'Supporting the Italian Pavilion and its public programme is an honour', commented Blazy in a statement to press. 'The global view of Venice presents an incredible platform for navigating ideas and creativity, especially in a collective, multi-disciplinary effort with Fosbury Architecture'.
Formed by a generation of artists that are aware, Fosbury Architecture is a collective designing lived spaces for the next generation. Aware of their impact in designing for a generation irrevocably affected by climate change and understanding the city's changing role in a post-Covid-19 society, they provide a voice to those looking to expand the finite boundaries of architecture.
Throughout the fair, the Italian Pavilion will be accompanied by a Public Programme called Mondo Novo, consisting of five moments to reflect on the central themes of Architecture today. Fosbury Architecture will head up the programme with Palazzo Grassi - Punta della Dogana, Pinault Collection.
