Cruises, jewels, sequins and a beige trench coat for Bottega Veneta's S/S 20 campaign

Bottega Veneta has gone all-out early naughties music video glamour for their S/S 20 campaign – minus the lions and money spray gun. Bronzed and bespectacled models lounge on a cruise (probably not P&O), showing off Daniel Lee’s luxurious S/S 20 collection. Shot by Tyrone Lebon, this is about as aspirational as it gets, a true 'tear it out and stick it on your wall'-er.

Featuring Mica Argañaraz and Edoardo Sebastianelli, we are teased with sequins, soft leather and glittering jewels. A nipple-baring racerback top here, some skyscraper heels there and we have a recipe for sensual hedonism in the sun. Of course, no mega-cruise around the Med can be complete without a beige, ankle grazing trench-coat; Sebastianelli models his against a blazing sunset, of course.

This follows in the pedicured footsteps of previous campaigns. A/W 19 sold us the American dream in Joshua Tree, California, and featured a suspended golden sports car. The S/S 19 campaign, meanwhile, was shot by Lebon in a private estate on the Neapolitan island, Ischia. Just a pinch more salt in the wound, please.
